FAQ
How do I check elevation on the map?
Click or tap anywhere on the map and the elevation at that point appears instantly in meters and feet. Use the peak buttons to jump to famous mountains, or the 'My Location' button for where you are now.
How do I see the topographic (contour) map?
Use the layer control in the top-right corner of the map and select 'Topographic'. It switches to a terrain map with contour lines β handy for reading ridges and slopes.
How accurate is the elevation value?
Values come from the Copernicus DEM satellite terrain model (~90 m resolution). It is ground elevation, not building height; in narrow valleys or steep terrain expect errors of a few to tens of meters.
Does it work outside Korea?
Yes β pan the map anywhere in the world and click. Everest or the Sahara, it works the same.
