How is pesticide dilution calculated?
Concentrate (mL) = water (L) × 1000 ÷ dilution ratio. For 20 L of water at 1000x, you need 20 mL of concentrate.
What does 1000x dilution mean?
It means 1 part concentrate to 1000 parts water — i.e. 1 mL concentrate per liter of water, or 20 mL per 20 L.
Where do I find the right ratio?
Recommended ratios differ by crop and pest for each pesticide. Always follow the product label and check tank-mix compatibility.

Pesticide Dilution

Pesticides are mixed with water at a set dilution ratio for spraying. Enter the water volume and ratio to get the concentrate amount (mL). Higher ratios (e.g. 2000x) use less concentrate.

Formula

Concentrate (mL) = water (L) × 1000 ÷ ratio. e.g. 20 L at 1000x → 20 mL; 500 L at 1000x → 500 mL (0.5 L).
